SOCK AND BLAKE RECEIVE WILD CARDS

Young American Sock Has Best Career Win This Week

Rising American Jack Sock and two-time ITC finalist James Blake have received wild cards to play in the Delray Beach ITC’s ATP World Tour event which begins Monday at the Delray Beach Stadium & Tennis Center.

The 20-year-old Sock has reached his second career quarterfinal in Memphis this week, and enjoyed the biggest win of his career Tuesday night, beating No. 14 Milos Raonic in three sets.

This will be the first appearance in the Delray Beach main draw for Sock, who came up short in the qualifying tournaments here in 2012, when he won two matches, and 2011, when he won his initial match.

Blake, 33, reached the finals here in 2007 and 2008. He will be making a seventh appearance in the event and has a 12-6 record. He has won 10 ATP titles and reached a career-high No. 4 in the world in 2006.

No. 2 American Sam Querrey received Delray Beach’s first wild card last week from tournament director Mark Baron.
