MEDIA CENTER

The Media Center is located in the Delray Beach Community Center on the NE side of the Delray Beach Tennis Center. Within the Media Center are work stations, courtesy phone lines and a wireless network. Prepaid phone cards are required for long distance.

CREDENTIALS

Credentialing begins in December. A link to our web-based credentialing system will be posted in December - go to "Media Application" under the Media Menu on the front page of this site. If you are on the Delray Beach ITC media email distribution list, you will receive an email prompt when the credentialing site is opened. Those who apply for media credentials should be ready to submit a passport-type photograph in .jpg form.

TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE

ATP Champions Tour Matches: Begin Friday, Feb. 24 @ 7 pm with the final on Tuesday, Feb. 28 @ 7:15 pm

ATP World Tour Qualies: Saturday, Feb. 25 @ 10 am  and Sunday, Feb. 26 @ 12:00 noon on Courts 1, 4 ,5 and 6 with final round on Monday Feb. 27 @ 10 am

ATP World Tour Main Draw Matches: Begin Monday, Feb. 27 on Stadium Court, and Courts 1, 4 and 5. Finals: Sunday, Mar. 4 with doubles @ 1 pm  and singles @ 3 pm

MEDIA PARKING

Media Parking is in the Green Premier lot in front of City Hall. Follow the signs from Atlantic Avenue.

SECURITY

All individuals, including media, may be subject to a metal detector ‘wand’ and bag search upon entering the grounds.

LOCKERS

Lockers are available for camera storage on a first-come, first-served basis. Please bring your own lock.

MEDIA STADIUM SEATING

Media seating is in the International Box Seats on the Stadium’s lower level in the northwest corner. A sign will indicate the cordoned-off area.

INTERVIEW ROOM

The Interview Room is located in the Delray Beach Community Center and entry is limited to credentialed and working media. An ATP representative will bring players to the interview room following matches of interest. Please advise Lisa Franson or the ATP Representative of your interest in interviewing a specific player. Please note: following high-interest matches, television stations will be limited to a reporter and cameraman.

PLAYERS LOUNGE

ITWA members should display their credentials when gaining access to the Players Lounge.

PHOTOGRAPHERS

Still and video photographers will have courtside access to the photographers pit on Stadium Court, with priority give to dailies and wire services. Individuals with their credential coded ‘CA” (court access) will be permitted on the court, but a shooting position courtside is not guaranteed. If the area becomes crowded, it may be necessary to rotate at times. This will be decided by the media director and the official photographer. Please be courteous if asked to give your position to another photographer if you have been in the position for some time.

The following rules also apply to photographers:

• On-court photographers must not speak to players, officials or ball kids at any time during a match. Requests made by the chair umpire are to be complied with immediately. No motor drives allowed before service, and flash equipment may not be used on the court during practice or matches. Strobes may be used for awards photos. Photographers may enter or leave the pit only on a changeover.
• Please avoid obstructing television cameras.
• The official tournament photographer(s) will have the first photo opportunity during the awards ceremony. Please be considerate of this individual(s). All other photographers must be on the opposite side of the net when awards are distributed.
• Any photographer not adhering to the rules may be asked to leave.
