Halloween Super Series

The sister company of the Delray Beach ITC is proud to host the HALLOWEEN SUPER SERIES hosted by the City of Delray Beach, held October 12 – 14, 2013 and consisting of approximately 100 statewide and international players in the Boys & Girls 10, 12 and 14 and under age divisions. DOUBLES DEADLINE – IMPORTANT

Doubles sign-in closes on Thursday, October 10 at 5pm, with first round matches to be played on Saturday, not before Noon.  If you signed in for doubles on-line without a partner, YOU STILL MUST CONTACT US to let us know who your partner is going to be. If you do not have a partner, let us know and we will do our best to pair you with another player – doubles is included in the entry fee. Players may play singles in one division, and doubles in another division. FORMAT: An 8-game pro set with a 12-point tiebreak (first to seven, by two points) at 8 games all.

• MAIN SITE: Delray Beach Swim & Tennis Club. Directions: (2350 Jaeger Drive, Delray Beach, FL 33444). From I-95 Exit Linton Blvd. Head East 3/4 mile. Turn right on SW 10th Ave. Continue to stop sign and take a left (Lindell). Continue 2 full blocks to roundabout and go left on Dotterel. Continue 1 block to Jaeger Drive, make a left. Pro shop on left and parking is to the left or right.
• ALTERNATE SITE: To be announced soon if the draws are full, and/or if there is a weather issue.

START TIMES, FORMAT & REFUNDS

• Draw: Finalized on Wednesday, Oct. 9 with all starting times posted on Thursday, Oct. 10 at 5pm – no refunds will be distributed once the draw is made
• Boys & Girls 12s & 14s Format: Singles: No consolation and two tiebreak sets with a 10pt match point tie-breaker for the third set; Doubles 8-game pro set
• Boys & Girls 10s Format:
  • Scoring: 2 out of 3 sets (first to 4 games and win by  2 games), using regular add scoring with a set tie-break at 4 games all (first to 7 points, win by 2 points). A match tie-break is played in lieu of the 3rd set (first to 10 points, win by 2 points).
  • Ball: Low compression green ball
  • Racket: 27″
  • Court size: 78′ x 27′ (singles), 78′ x 36′ (doubles)
  • Net Height: 3′

PRACTICE COURTS – IMPORTANT

The earliest matches begin at 8:00am. 14 courts will be available to warm-up from 7:15 – 8am. Please be considerate as this is a facility/development rule. 1-2 courts may be available to warm-up after 8am. Please ask the tournament desk for details… Good luck!
