The World’s Top Tennis Players Serve Official Tennis Cocktails
At Atlantic Avenue Restaurants in Downtown Delray Beach

(January 18, 2007) – The Delray Beach International Tennis
Championships (ITC) has partnered with select
restaurants in downtown Delray Beach to serve signature
tennis-themed cocktails throughout the tournament, Jan.
27 – Feb. 4.
A special
bartending event is set for 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on
Sunday, Jan. 28, featuring the world’s top ATP tennis players serving up these delectable drinks at each
restaurant.
ITC ticket
holders can redeem their tournament ticket at one of the
participating restaurants for one complimentary tennis
cocktail, Jan. 27 – Feb. 4.
Participating restaurants include City Oyster, Gol! The
Taste of Brazil, Louie Louie Too, 32 East and Sol Kitchen.
The “Official Cocktails of the ITC” are as follows:
“Grand Slam” – City Oyster

5 oz. Stoli Vanilla vodka

Splash of orange juice

Splash of pineapple juice

Orange slice for garnish
Shake all ingredients with ice in a mixer and strain into a
martini glass. Garnish with orange slice.
City Oyster features American cuisine, specializing in
seafood, and is located at 213 East Atlantic Avenue in
downtown Delray Beach. Lunch is served from 11:30 a.m. to
2:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and dinner is served from

“Ipanema
Ace Caipirinha” - Gol! The Taste of Brazil
- 2 oz. Cachaça (or vodka)

3 strawberries, two chopped, one reserved for garnish

1/4 of a passion fruit, chopped

1 tsp. of sugar (or sugar substitute)
Muddle the cachaça in a large glass with the sugar, the
chopped strawberry and passion fruit. Mix thoroughly in a
martini shaker. Pour into a whiskey glass with three pieces
of ice and garnish with a strawberry. You’ve hit an ace, as
they do in Ipanema.
Gol! The
Taste of Brazil, is a Brazilian churrascarria-style
restaurant, located at 411 East Atlantic Avenue in downtown
Delray Beach. Dinner is served nightly, from 5 p.m. to 11

Shake and serve in a martini glass, garnish with olives.

Delray Beach and hours of operation are 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
